Acknowledging Pain

It is an art form to understand, acknowledge, and apologize wholeheartedly. It is hard for many people to do that, often you're more prone to find people who will go out of their way to defend, forgo responsibility, manipulate or shut down when you try to bring your hurt to them.

If you find yourself in a position where your pain isn't acknowledged, don't resort to saying it a million times in a million different ways. What you should do is, acknowledge yourself! You want to be understood, you want to be seen, and who better than yourself to get that from?

Now we are tribal people and we need the village, but stop trying to draw blood from a rock. Many people who can't acknowledge the pain they have caused you, or apologize or take ownership are simply because they can't do it within themselves!
