Commitment vs Passion

If you are taking the time out to read this, well, you know I have been at this a long time! I have started and stopped so many different times. I have made videos, I write, and I have been trying to write another book. I often say that when you get into this field, you have to have a passion for it! 

Now, along with passion, you do need commitment, but being committed is not the same as having passion for something. I would go out on a limb and say the majority of us have to work. We have obligations and bills, so we must have a level of commitment to attend work every day. Now, many of us often leave work unfinished and often feel like we are supposed to be doing something else. 

Now, when you're passionate about something, you feel complete doing it! I love writing and I love making videos because I believe I was put on this earth to help people, which in turn blesses me. When you have the passion, you do it from the heart, and you have to understand that many people won't believe in you in the beginning.

When I first started on this journey, it broke my heart not having the people who said they loved me support me. I wrote an ebook, and I had people who knew me not only not purchase the $2 book, but they would tell me about all the other books out there. I remember one time having a conversation and saying how my engagement on social media was very important, and those same people wouldn't share anything I did, but would share with me things from other people!

I had many dark days because of that, but then I remember what I was doing was my passion, it didn't matter if I got 1 view or a hundred! You see, whatever you're doing in life, you have to make sure everything is aligned to receive the blessing on the other side of the door!

So I will be back to posting on here, along with my videos! I thank everyone for your support, it means a lot to me!
