The waiting period

I got in my feelings the other night because I realized something. Sometimes we pray for blessings, but we're not ready to handle them yet.

A lot of us know how to say, "God won't put more on me than I can bear."

But the part we forget is this:

-God won't bless you with what you can't handle yet.

-The in-between time is where your character gets tested.

-If you keep rushing the process, you can end up in an answer you're not ready for.

I've had opportunities before I was mature enough to hold them. Looking back, I'm grateful some things didn't open too soon.

Maybe the real blessing is not just what comes next; it's who you become while you wait.
