War!
When we normally think of war, we think of two countries or two factions in opposition, often, though the biggest war we will encounter is the war of the mind! You see, before we focus on outside opposition, we must address the war in our minds. We wrestle with thoughts daily, and those thoughts shape our personal battlefields.
For example, upon waking up and starting your day, you face your first battle. How do you start the day? What do you tell yourself? Some people start the day saying how they don't feel like going to work, how they are tired, etc. With that, you set the course of your day, and you have already placed into the atmosphere what your day will look like.
I know many don't believe in religion, but I believe that the devil knows that he cannot stop you, so what he does is he persuades you to stop you! I believe that is how you begin to have thoughts filled with self-sabotaging thoughts. Here are some examples of what I am saying.
You every made a statement of "I hope it works out?" or maybe when things are going good, you say "I don't want to jinx it." Or "I am not going to get my hopes up." You see, you can literally think yourself into depression. I understand this all too well, and that is why, going into this season, I am making the conscious choice that this is my season! If people don't support me, I will support myself; I will push myself if don't nobody else pushes me.
You see, so many times(I am guilty of this), we give the devil so much credit. We say things like the devil trying to steal my joy, or the devil trying to mess with my money, or the devil is trying to mess with my relationship. The devil does not care about any of that lol, in fact, the devil wants you to have more money, more money will distract your mind even more! The devil isn't worried about your relationship, ya'll arent praying enough anyways for it to be a strong relationship anyways.
The devil will give you what you want as long as he can take up space in your mind! That's why it is so important that your heart is right, because when your mind starts acting up, your heart will still be intact and on code!
Everything you do in this world begins with a thought, and if it starts with a thought, it can end with a thought! This is where many of us mess up; we try to do things without first having a thought. We say things like there is power in the tongue, but we forget about the mind! That's why if you get anything after reading this, you understand that one must control their mind!
You want to break generational curses, you must have a sound mind, you want better for your life, you have to have a sound mind! The war starts in your mind!
